Loyal fan since day one. I'm about 90% sure this is just a ROM running on a dedicated emulator. That being said it's really not that bad.
However the save system needs to be tweaked from the original. On a mobile platform you can't expect any player to be able to get between one save point and another without interruption like let's say a phone call. Change the save system to be more like the previous ports on Android and I would say this is a five-star representation of the original. Update - It also does not work with android TV. So it will NOT work with an Nvidia shield or something similar. Easily one of the best stories of any game ever made.
From the little bit of gameplay I saw, it was a great port really brought me back. The problem is I download and play for 1 to 2 days. I go to open on day 3, nothing.! The game keeps force closing over and over. I tried to clear the data, still nothing. The only way I can get it to work is if I delete the game and then reinstall.
I have a Galaxy S8 Plus there is no reason this game shouldn't run on this phone. Please address this issue, I would really like to play this old game. Fix that and I will adjust my review Thanks. Easily the best game in my opinion that ive ever played. Will download and install but wont let me out of the train station at the start and then the game freezes. I was able to get a refund and then purchase the game to download again to see if it hadnt downloaded correctly. Game freezes at the same point.
Im using a samsung galaxy tab 3, I will change my review should this be corrected and I can actually play the game. My hardware is upto date and have plenty of memory.
Please fix this so I can play this great game once again. Any help from fellow users to get playing would be appreciated. It doesnt seem to ofer me a refund now either despite the purchase being on the same day. I see a lot of people moaning and I don't understand why. This is the best game in the world and here it is on your phone. You can max all your stats and turn random battles off, which is nice if you've already played the game a million times like me and just want to relive the amazing story and music and everything else.
Would have been nice for the max stats thing to master all the materia, and to also have quick saves, but it doesn't really matter too much. It works wonderfully smooth and nice.

Now you have set the bios settings for FPSE without setting SCPH1001.BIN it won’t run. Uncheck the 'HLE mode' and click 'Default config save' to save bios settings.
