Hello Everyone, I am trying to install the Mac OS X Mountain Lion (Niresh Distro) 10.8.2 in my HP Probook 4540s but it gets stuck at ' still waiting for root device'. I tried various BIOS configurations and boot flags like debug=8, AHCIDisk=1, GraphicsEnabler=Yes/No, hp (this flag was provided in niresh's guide) and many others in different combinations but none seem to be working. Can anyone help me with this? System: Intel® Core i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz 4GB DDR3 RAM (Single Channel) 750 GB SATA HDD GFX-Intel HD Graphics 4000 @ 2 GB GFX- AMD Radeon 7650 @ 2 GB. From 'OS X support kexts,' select only the version that matches your laptop (4x30s, 4x40s, etc). From 'DSDT generator/patcher' select your 'ProBook model,' a 'Fan behavior' that matches your preferences, and your 'Display type.' Note: you must select one option from each of the first three groups to generate a patched DSDT.
In addition, you must have no DSDT present in /Extra/dsdt.aml at the time you run this option. If you wish to regenerate a DSDT later, you must remove /Extra/dsdt.aml, reboot, and then run the ProBook Installer using your desired DSDT options.
Check the option for 'SSDT' generator. From 'System definitions,' select ONE system definition which matches closest your laptop. Chameleon: This allows you to boot from your main HDD/SSD - From 'Optional hardware-specific fixes,' - 'EDID generator' Recommended. From 'Misc OS X fixes' - 'Color profiles,' Recommended. 'Sleep fix,' If you have SSD, 'Sleep image fix' is recommended.
This disables OS X version of 'hybrid sleep' where upon entering sleep, a 'hibernation image' is written to the boot drive. For SSD, you don't really want to write this file every time your laptop goes to sleep. 'Extra tools' All optional.
Select the ones you want. Try RehabMan guide.
Hello every body first of all my english is kinda bad sorry!! This is my first topic sorry if its in the wrong place!!

So i downloaded mackintosh yosemite from 'hackintoshzone.com' on windows and restored it using Transmac on a usb after that i installed yosemite on my 'HP PAVILION DV6' and every thing worked just fine. But the only problem is the graphics its glitching and lagging a little bit. And after while i realized that the problem is in the Vram its just 3mb. I googled this problem and i only get some solution using clover wich i can't use i guess because i only have LEGACY on my notebook but i do have chameleon installed by default??!! Requirements Pendrive 2.0 (=8GB) 'Install macOS Sierra app' (5GB) Working Mac Installing Clover to USB Get a USB 2.0 Pendrive (8GB and above) Before you can partition the USB, you must determine what the disk identifier is. With the USB plugged in to the computer, use 'diskutil list': In Terminal: diskutil list In my case, output: /dev/disk0 (internal, physical): #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: GUIDpartitionscheme.1.0 TB disk0 1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk0s1 2: AppleCoreStorage MacOS 500.4 GB disk0s2 3: AppleBoot Recovery HD 650.0 MB disk0s5 4: Microsoft Basic Data DATA 498.8 GB disk0s4 /dev/disk1 (external, physical): #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: Pendrive.8.0 GB disk1 As you can see my pendrive is available at /dev/disk1 (check yours).
Since this is my first map there are going to be some bugs, but I do not plan to continue working on this map anymore since I just want to start on a brand new one. There is a lot of space to run around and there are some cool camping spots to eliminate endless zombie hordes.

AppleAHCIPort.kext v328 from High Sierra PB117A291m. Info.plist has been edited so Bundle version is 999.1.1 - give higher priority loading in kernel cache/pre-linked kernel than v329 from later betas/GM. Need to disable SIP (since editing info.plist invalidates Apple's kext signature). Install in /Library/Extensions (so doesn't get over-written during updates) repair permissions, rebuild caches eg sudo chown -R 0:0 /Library/Extensions/AppleAHCIPort.kext && sudo chmod -R 755 /Library/Extensions/AppleAHCIPort.kext sudo touch /System/Library/Extensions && sudo kextcache -u / Test kext is loadable. Sudo kextutil -tn /Library/Extensions/AppleAHCIPort.kext Confirm kext is loaded after rebooting the system. Kextstat grep AHCIPort To use with a USB installer, the kext needs to be included in the prelinkedkernel. Use PLK.tool attached to post#13 to create a new prelinkedkernel with AppleAHCIPort.kext v328, then replace original prelinkedkernel in the installer - post#16.
Salve a tutti ho installato OSX, Sierra 10.12.6 (16G29), grazie a questo forum Ho installato tutti i Kext necessari da Nvidia a quelli per l'audio HDMI,ethernet ecc.
